Semi /Senior Accountant
Hybrid role
Location: Leeds
Up to 35K (DOE)
We are working with a small, friendly and growing accountancy practice based in Leeds, known for its supportive culture and collaborative working environment. Due to continued expansion, they are looking to appoint a Semi-Senior or Senior Accountant who is confident, motivated, and keen to take ownership of their work.

The Role
You will be responsible for a broad range of accounts and tax duties, including:
- Preparation and submission of VAT returns
- Managing accounts and maintaining your own client portfolio
- Bookkeeping duties
- Preparation of personal and corporation tax returns
- Year-end accounts and year-end tax returns
- Liaising directly with clients and building strong working relationships
The Ideal Candidate
- AAT Level 4 qualified
- 4+ years’ experience within UK accountancy practice
- Confident, independent, and able to hit the ground running
- Comfortable managing their own workload and client relationships
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Ambitious and keen to develop with a growing firm
- The firm is happy to train and support the right individual
