Puro Associates are currently seeking a highly motivated Payroll Manager to join a growing firm in their Blackburn office. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a dynamic company, with the chance to take on new challenges and progress your career.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsibility for producing accurate and timely payroll for all payroll clients including weekly, monthly, and 4 weekly payrolls.
- Working on the entire payroll lifecycle from PAYE scheme creation to year end.
- Key contact for all payroll enquiries.
- Key contact for HMRC payroll queries and pension organisations queries.
- Setting up of new payroll clients - PAYE scheme and pension scheme on payroll software.
- Dealing with CIS submissions.
- Improving systems to ensure payroll department runs efficiently and effectively.
- Processing new starters and leavers.
- Responsible for reporting to Practice Manager on payroll as and when required.
Requirements:
- 5+ years experience in a bureau or accountancy practice setting
- CIPP or relevant payroll qualification desirable
- Passionate for high quality service
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Desire to develop and progress
