Personal Injury Fee Earner – EL/PL Litigation
Location: Blackpool
Contract Competitive, dependent on experience + Bonus
A well-established and highly regarded law firm is seeking an experienced Personal Injury Fee Earner to join its growing litigation team based in Blackpool.
This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual to manage a caseload of Employer’s Liability and Public Liability matters, handling claims from portal exit through to settlement and litigation.
The Role
You will manage your own EL/PL caseload, progressing files efficiently while delivering a high standard of client care and legal service.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing a caseload of Employer’s Liability and Public Liability claims
- Progressing matters from portal exit through to settlement or litigation
- Drafting legal documentation and correspondence
- Advising clients clearly and professionally throughout the claims process
- Liaising with insurers, medical experts, counsel, and third parties
- Preparing files for litigation and court proceedings where required
- Maintaining accurate records using case management systems
- Working to deadlines and performance targets while maintaining quality standards
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years’ experience handling EL/PL matters
- At least 2 years’ litigation experience
- Strong technical understanding of personal injury litigation
- Excellent communication and client-care skills
- Organised, proactive, and driven approach
- Strong IT and case management skills
- Experience using Proclaim advantageous
