Personal Tax Manager (Part-Time/Full time)

Puro Associates are delighted to be partnering with a well-established and highly regarded accountancy practice in Wantage, who are looking to bring on an experienced Personal Tax Manager to join their friendly and supportive team on a full-time or part-time basis.

Key Responsibilities
- Managing a portfolio of approximately 160 personal tax clients
- Preparation and submission of personal tax returns
- Providing both compliance and advisory services to clients
- Liaising directly with clients to resolve queries and offer proactive tax planning advice
- Monitoring and managing your own workflow to ensure deadlines are met
- Supporting clients with a high level of service and technical expertise
Requirements
Essential:
- ATT qualified (or equivalent) or previous experience within HMRC in personal tax
- Proven experience within an accountancy practice
- Strong knowledge of UK personal tax legislation
- Excellent communication and numerical skills
- High attention to detail with the ability to manage and prioritise workload independently
Desirable:
- Experience with Capital Gains Tax computations and trust returns
- Exposure to mixed tax (personal and corporate)
- Familiarity with systems such as IRIS, Xero, Sage, or QuickBooks
