Location: Wiltshire
Salary: £52,000 - £62,000 (DOE)
Contract: Full-Time, Permanent

The Opportunity
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Private Client Solicitor (3+ PQE) to join a highly regarded firm within their specialist Agriculture & Landed Estates team.
This is a rare chance to work closely with a Partner on a well-established caseload, providing expert advice to high-net-worth clients, family businesses, landed estates, and farming enterprises. The role offers exposure to complex and rewarding matters, alongside excellent progression prospects including a clear pathway to partnership.
Key Responsibilities
- Advising clients on tax planning, inheritance tax (IHT), and capital gains tax (CGT).
- Drafting trusts, settlements, and family partnership agreements.
- Providing wealth preservation and succession planning advice.
- Assisting clients in passing wealth to future generations in the most tax-efficient manner.
- Administration of complex estates, including bespoke cross-border considerations.
- Working collaboratively with the Partner on existing matters, while managing an independent caseload.
About You
The successful candidate will:
- Be a qualified solicitor with 3+ years PQE in Private Client law.
- Have demonstrable knowledge of IHT and CGT in the context of family businesses, landed estates, and farming enterprises.
- Possess strong drafting skills with a genuine interest in trusts, settlements, and tax planning.
- Be highly organised, adaptable, and able to manage a varied caseload under pressure.
- Be client-focused, with excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Be passionate about developing expertise in the agricultural/landed estates sector.
