Private Client Solicitor
Salary - Up to £70,000
Location - Potters Bar

Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced and motivated Private Client Solicitor to join and help lead our expanding department.

The Role
You will manage a varied caseload of private client matters, including:

• Wills
• Lasting Powers of Attorney
• Probate and Estate Administration
• Inheritance Tax Planning
• Trusts
• Court of Protection matters
• Property Protection and Wealth Management matters

The successful candidate will also be encouraged to participate in the continued growth and marketing of the department and the firm’s services.

Candidate Requirements

• Qualified Solicitor with a valid practising certificate
• Ideally 3 - 10 years PQE
• Proven experience handling a broad range of Private Client matters
• Strong drafting skills relating to Wills, Trusts and LPAs
• Experience dealing with Trust and Estate Administration and IHT planning
• Excellent communication and client care skills
• Ability to work independently and manage a varied caseload
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
• Knowledge of relevant laws, compliance and regulations relating to Private Client work
• Full clean driving licence, as travel to clients may occasionally be required
• Ambitious and enthusiastic with a genuine interest in leadership and department growth

Working Pattern

• Full-time preferred, although 4 days may be considered depending on circumstances
• Office hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 5:00pm
• Office-based role
• Hybrid working may be considered for the right candidate
