Property Litigation Solicitor Role Overview:
As a Property Litigation Solicitor, you will be responsible for managing a varied caseload of property disputes, advising both commercial and residential clients. You will play an integral role in resolving complex issues related to landlord and tenant disputes, property damage, and contractual issues, as well as providing expert legal counsel on all aspects of property law.
Key Responsibilities of the Property Litigation Solicitor:
- Manage a broad range of property litigation matters, including lease renewals, dilapidations, landlord and tenant disputes, and boundary disputes.
- Provide expert legal advice to clients on complex property-related matters.
- Conduct litigation in the County Court, High Court, and tribunals as required.
- Draft legal documents, including claims, defences, and witness statements.
- Negotiate settlements and engage in alternative dispute resolution where appropriate.
- Maintain strong relationships with clients, providing updates and managing expectations.
- Collaborate with other teams within the firm, contributing to cross-disciplinary matters when required.
About You:
- A qualified Solicitor with experience in property litigation or a similar area of law.
- Experience working with both commercial and residential property disputes is highly desirable.
- Strong technical knowledge of property law and litigation procedures.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build and maintain client relationships.
- Ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team.
- A proactive and solution-focused approach to legal challenges.
