An established and growing law firm is seeking an experienced Commercial Property Solicitor / Real Estate Solicitor to join its Liverpool office.
This opportunity would suit a senior solicitor who is looking to take on a key role within a busy property team, combining high-quality fee-earning work with the supervision, mentoring, and development of more junior lawyers and support staff.
The Role
You will manage a varied commercial property caseload while supporting the leadership and growth of the department. The successful candidate will be expected to provide technical guidance, assist with team development, and help maintain high standards of client service across the team.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing a diverse caseload of commercial property matters from instruction through to completion
- Advising on acquisitions, disposals, landlord and tenant matters, development work, refinancing, and portfolio management
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, agents, lenders, and other professional contacts
- Supervising, mentoring, and supporting junior solicitors and fee earners
- Assisting with technical training and development within the team
- Supporting the department's continued growth and performance
- Ensuring compliance with regulatory and risk management procedures
- Contributing to business development and networking activities
About You
- Qualified Solicitor with significant experience in Commercial Property / Real Estate matters
- Strong technical knowledge across a broad range of commercial property transactions
- Experience supervising or mentoring junior team members
- Commercially minded with strong client relationship skills
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities
- Able to manage a busy caseload while supporting wider team objectives
- Ambitious and keen to play a role in the continued growth of a successful department
