Senior Accountant – Accountancy Practice
Salary: £40,000 | Fully Remote | Flexible Hours

Our client, an ambitious accountancy practice, is looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join their close-knit team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who can hit the ground running and is excited to grow with the business.

The role:
- Manage a portfolio of approximately 50–75 clients, building strong and trusted relationships
- Prepare statutory accounts, management accounts, and financial statements
- Support with onboarding new clients and ensuring a seamless transition into the practice
- Assist with ad hoc client queries relating to accounting, tax, and business advice
- Work closely with the Director to identify opportunities for service improvements and business growth
- Support clients with accounting for group structures and consolidations where needed
- Liaise with HMRC and other external bodies on behalf of clients
About you:
- Must be based in the UK and have UK Practice experience
- Proven experience managing a portfolio of clients within an accountancy practice
- Strong background in preparing statutory and management accounts
- Experience with group structures and consolidated accounts is essential
- Tax advisory experience would be highly desirable
- Minimum of AAT Qualified
- A proactive self-starter who is comfortable working independently in a remote environment
- Excellent communication skills and a real passion for delivering outstanding client service
- Commercially minded with an eye for spotting opportunities to add value to clients
