Residential Conveyancing Solicitor - 3+ PQE
Location: Hastings
Salary: £48,000 - £55,000 DOE
The Opportunity
An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Residential Conveyancing Solicitor (3+ PQE) to take a leading role in establishing and growing a new office based in Hastings. This is a unique chance to be at the forefront of an exciting expansion, offering genuine autonomy and long-term career progression.
The Role
This role will suit a confident and motivated solicitor who thrives on responsibility and enjoys building strong client relationships. You will manage a diverse caseload of residential conveyancing matters, including:
- Sales and purchases of freehold and leasehold properties
- Remortgages, transfers of equity, and new build transactions
- Liaising with clients, lenders, and third parties to ensure smooth completion of matters
As the office develops, you will play an integral role in local business development, helping to grow the client base and recruit future support staff as the workload expands.
About You
- Qualified Solicitor with a minimum of 3 years’ PQE in residential conveyancing
- Confident handling a busy and varied caseload (approximately 25–30 new files per month, with support)
- Excellent communicator with a client-focused approach
- Ambitious and proactive, with an interest in business growth and development
- Comfortable working autonomously and taking initiative in a developing team environment
