Role Overview
We are seeking a Residential Property Solicitor to join a busy and expanding property department.
The successful candidate will handle a varied caseload of non-contentious residential property matters and will play an important role in developing client relationships and supporting continued departmental growth.
There is also potential to undertake commercial property work for candidates with relevant interest or experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing a varied residential property caseload with appropriate supervision
  • Handling all aspects of non-contentious property transactions efficiently and accurately
  • Building and maintaining strong client relationships and networks
  • Supporting the development of new business and repeat client work
  • Communicating effectively with clients, agents, and professional contacts
  • Ensuring compliance with client care and service standards
  • Working collaboratively with colleagues across the team
  • Supporting junior team members, including trainees and paralegals where appropriate
  • Recording time accurately and ensuring timely completion of files and billing
  • Working within targets and deadlines
  • Using case management systems effectively

Skills & Experience

  • Around 5 years PQE in residential property law (commercial property experience also welcomed)
  • Strong knowledge of residential conveyancing and non-contentious property matters
  • Experience managing your own caseload independently
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to build client and referrer relationships
  • Excellent written communication and attention to detail
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Experience working to targets
  • Good IT skills and experience using case management systems
  • Ability to support, supervise, and work with junior team members
