About the Role
Are you a Scottish Qualified Lawyer with experience in Personal Injury litigation looking to progress your legal career in a fully remote role?
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Scottish Qualified Lawyer to join our growing team, specialising in Road Traffic Accident (RTA) and Personal Injury claims. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a supportive and collaborative environment while managing your own caseload remotely.
You will handle litigated matters from instruction through to settlement or court proceedings, using your legal expertise to deliver high-quality outcomes for clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing a caseload of litigated RTA and Personal Injury claims under Scottish law from instruction through to settlement or court action
- Drafting pleadings, witness statements, and court documentation
- Preparing case files and supporting documentation for hearings or settlement discussions
- Negotiating settlements with insurers and third parties
- Liaising with counsel, clients, medical experts, insurers and other stakeholders
- Ensuring cases progress efficiently and in line with internal procedures and service level agreements
- Providing a proactive, client-focused approach to litigation
Skills & Experience
- Scottish Qualified Lawyer (admitted in Scotland)
- Minimum 1 year’s experience handling Personal Injury and/or RTA litigation
- Strong knowledge of Scottish civil procedure and litigation processes
- Experience managing litigated claims independently
- Excellent organisational and case management skills
- Strong communication and negotiation abilities
- A proactive and self-motivated approach, with the ability to work effectively in a fully remote environment
