Key Responsibilities:

• Preparation of year-end accounts for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies
• Preparation and submission of VAT returns
• Assisting with management accounts
• Preparation of corporation tax computations and returns
• Preparation of self-assessment tax returns and client liaison through to sign-off
• Liaising with clients to resolve queries and gather information
• Supporting junior team members where appropriate
• Ensuring work is completed to a high standard and within deadlines

About you:

• ACA/ ACCA Part/ Qualified/ QBE
• Minimum 2 years of experience in an accounting practice
• Strong technical knowledge of accounting and tax principles
• Excellent communication and client relationship skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Xero, QuickBooks, Sage) and Microsoft Office Suite
• Someone with the ability to manage their own portfolio of clients
