Puro Accountancy is excited to assist an Accountancy firm in the Chester area in their search for a full-time permanent Semi-Senior Accountant to integrate into their warm and established team of accounting professionals.
Candidates who are AAT qualified or possess equivalent experience (QBE) are encouraged to apply. Additionally, our client offers support for further studies such as ACCA/ACA for those seeking to advance their qualifications.
Responsibilities of the Semi Senior Accountant will encompass:
- Supporting clients on accounting process offering tailored advice
- Managing your own portfolio of clients
- Preparing accounts for sole traders, Ltd companies and partnerships
- VAT returns
- Tax returns
- General bookkeeping duties
To be eligible for the Semi Senior Accountant position, you should possess:
- UK practice experience is essential
- Ideally AAT Level 4 qualification or equivalent through experience (QBE)
- Proficiency in Excel, Xero, Sage, Accounting, and Taxation software
- Strong communication skills, comfortable engaging with clients and colleagues at all levels
