Join a small family run practice based in Morpeth, Northumberland. Puro Associates are seeking a Semi-Senior Accountant to join a fantastic client of theirs. This is a great opportunity for a recently qualified or part qualified Semi-Senior Accountant looking to take the next steps in their Career with the opportunity to learn and train on the job!
Responsibilities of a Semi-Senior Accountant –
- Preparing annual accounts and tax returns for sole traders, partnerships and owner managed SMEs for manager review
- Prepare statutory accounts in accordance with UK FRS 105 and FRS 102 for manager review
- Prepare personal tax returns
- Prepare and submit VAT returns
- Communicating with clients
- Liaise with HMRC on behalf of clients
- Work confidently with various computer and accounting
An ideal Semi-Senior Accountant will have –
- Minimum 2 years of practice experience
- AAT qualified/part qualified, QBE
- Friendly disposition and a team player
- Effective communicator, comfortable communicating with clients and peers at all levels
