Senior Accountant – Cork
I'm currently working with a well-established Irish accountancy firm that's looking to hire a Senior Accountant for their growing Cork office. This is a great opportunity for a recently qualified ACA/ACCA with 1–2 years’ post-qual experience in practice who’s looking for real progression and a diverse client base.
What you'll be doing:
- Preparing full sets of accounts and tax returns (sole traders, individuals, directors)
- Reviewing and finalising financial statements
- Mentoring junior staff and leading client assignments
- Working closely with management on technical and compliance matters
- Gaining exposure across sectors (SMEs, education, healthcare, etc.)
What they’re looking for:
- ACA/ACCA qualified with 1–2 years PQE
- Strong practice background
- Experience with Irish tax returns
- Solid communication skills and ability to manage client relationships
- Team player with a commercial mindset
