Puro Associates are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Accountant to join a growing, independent firm in their York office. This is an exciting opportunity to work reputable, local company, with the chance to take on new challenges and progress your career.


Responsibilities:

• Prepare more difficult complicated sets of accounts for sole traders, ltd companies and partnerships.
• Review accounts
• Supporting clients on accounting process offering tailored advice
• Attend client meetings
• Manage your own portfolio of clients
• Submit VAT returns
• Training and supporting junior members of staff

Requirements:

• Confident in your ability to produce and review accounts.
• At least 3 years of experience within Practice.
• Sage 50, QuickBooks, Xero knowledge advantageous
