Salary: €60,000
A well-established and growing accountancy practice in Dublin is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated accounting professional looking to take the next step in their career within a supportive and client-focused practice environment.
The successful candidate will play a key role in managing client accounts, preparing financial reports, and supporting audit and compliance processes across a varied portfolio of clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Preparing and reviewing financial statements for a range of clients
- Preparing audit files and supporting audit processes
- Completing and filing VAT returns accurately and on time
- Assisting with month-end and year-end accounts preparation
- Managing client relationships and acting as a key point of contact
- Ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements
- Supporting junior team members where required
- Liaising with partners and clients on financial and operational matters
Requirements
- ACA / ACCA qualified or qualified by experience
- Previous experience working within an accountancy practice environment
- Strong experience preparing audit files and financial statements
- Solid knowledge of VAT compliance and returns
- Excellent technical accounting knowledge
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines
- Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
- Excellent communication and client management skills
