Puro Associates are delighted to be working with a well-established accountancy practice in Ferndown that is looking to recruit a Client Manager to join their expanding team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with UK practice experience who enjoys building client relationships, reviewing accounts and supporting junior team members.

The RoleAs Client Manager, you will take ownership of a varied portfolio of clients including SMEs, contractors and freelancers, providing a proactive and professional service across accounts and tax matters.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing your own portfolio of clients and acting as their main point of contact
- Reviewing statutory accounts and corporation tax computations
- Reviewing VAT returns and ensuring filing deadlines are met
- Supporting bookkeeping and accounts preparation where required
- Supervising and mentoring junior members of the team
- Attending client meetings and providing business advice
- Assisting with onboarding new clients
- Monitoring workflow and ensuring deadlines are achieved
- Delivering a high standard of client service at all times
About YouTo be considered for this role you will ideally have:
- At least 3 years' experience working within a UK accountancy practice
- AAT qualified or ACA/ACCA qualified or part-qualified
- Experience managing a client portfolio
- Strong knowledge of accounts preparation, VAT and corporation tax
- Previous experience reviewing work and supporting junior staff
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Experience using cloud accounting software such as Xero, QuickBooks or Sage
