Senior Conveyancing Solicitor - Experienced Fee Earner (5+ Years)

A well-established law firm in Stockport is seeking an experienced Residential Conveyancer to join their growing property team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone confident in running a full conveyancing caseload independently, looking to join a supportive and forward-thinking practice.
The Role
You will take responsibility for a varied mix of residential property files, managing transactions from initial instruction through to completion. The position offers plenty of autonomy along with the chance to contribute to team development and the firm’s ongoing success.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a full residential conveyancing caseload with minimal supervision
- Ensure all transactions are handled efficiently and in line with regulatory standards
- Maintain excellent compliance, risk management, and file organisation
- Meet billing, time-recording, and financial performance targets
- Provide high-quality client service both by phone and in person
- Assist or supervise colleagues where needed, including holiday or absence cover
- Participate in business development, networking, and marketing activities
- Build strong professional relationships with clients, referrers, and local contacts
- Use case management software to prepare documentation and maintain accurate records
- Contribute positively to team meetings and departmental initiatives
About You
- Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Residential Conveyancer / Fee Earner
- Confident handling a variety of property matters from start to finish
- Strong communication skills and a client-focused approach
- Well organised and able to manage multiple priorities
- Good IT skills and experience with case management systems
- Team-oriented with a proactive attitude toward business development
