An established and highly regarded law firm is seeking an experienced Supervising Solicitor to join its Community Care team in London. Recognised in both the Legal 500 and Chambers UK, this firm is committed to delivering access to justice across a wide range of practice areas and offers an excellent platform for professional growth.
This is a full-time, permanent position within a supportive, growing team, offering the chance to take on high-quality, meaningful work in a dynamic environment.
The Role:
You will be responsible for managing your own caseload, which will include:
- Challenging unlawful decisions via Judicial Review
- Assisting clients in accessing social services support
- Representing in Court of Protection proceedings
- Handling complaints against local authorities and the NHS
About You
- A qualified Solicitor with 3+ years’ PQE
- Strong background in social welfare law and Court of Protection matters
- Excellent client care skills with the ability to handle sensitive cases empathetically
- Confident working independently as well as within a team
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail
- IT proficient, able to work effectively to tight deadlines
