Tax Associate

Location: Dublin

The Role My client is seeking a Tax Associate to join their tax team. The successful candidate will report directly to the Tax Director and Tax Manager and will be primarily responsible for tax compliance for personal and corporate clients across all tax heads.
This role is ideally suited to an ambitious, self-motivated individual who is keen to progress their career within a supportive and progressive practice environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Preparation of tax returns across multiple tax heads, including Income Tax, Corporation Tax, Capital Gains Tax, Capital Acquisitions Tax, and VAT
  • Researching, reviewing, and interpreting tax legislation and Revenue guidance
  • Assisting in the preparation of tax advisory reports and responding to client queries
  • Ongoing communication with clients and Revenue
  • Attending client meetings alongside senior team members to develop client interaction and advisory skills
  • Performing any other duties associated with the role as required

Skills & Experience

  • Qualified Tax Technician, Chartered Tax Advisor (CTA), or Part-Qualified CTA
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience working within a professional practice environment
  • Strong technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • An enthusiastic team player with a strong commitment to ongoing professional development
  • Proficiency in taxation software and Microsoft Office
