About the Role:
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is looking to begin or continue their AAT studies while gaining valuable experience in a professional accounting environment. As a Trainee Accountant, you will be provided with the support and training needed to develop your skills in a variety of accounting functions, such as bookkeeping, VAT returns, payroll, and financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting with bookkeeping and maintaining financial records
- Preparing VAT returns and managing payroll processes
- Supporting senior accountants with year-end accounts preparation
- Liaising with clients to ensure accuracy in financial documentation
- Ensuring compliance with accounting standards and tax regulations
Who We’re Looking For:
- Desire to study or currently studying for the AAT qualification (Level 2 or Level 3)
- A strong interest in pursuing a career in accountancy
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in work
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- A proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and grow within the role
