Job Title:Manager – Year-End & Compliance Services
Reports to:Partner
Location:Cork Office
Role Overview
My client is seeking a qualified accountant with 3–5 years of post-qualification experience to join their team as a Manager. This role is critical in managing the year-end process for audit-exempt limited company clients, ensuring full compliance with statutory and tax obligations. The successful candidate will work closely with the Partner and team to deliver high-quality financial reporting and advisory services.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare annual financial statements for audit-exempt limited companies in accordance with accounting standards.
- Manage filing obligations with the Companies Registration Office (CRO).
- Prepare and submit Corporation Tax (CT) returns.
- Complete income tax returns for company directors.
- Ensure all compliance matters for assigned clients are met on time.
- Liaise with clients to resolve queries and provide proactive advice.
- Support the Partner in client meetings and presentations.
- Assist with strategic business advisory projects for clients.
- Provide insights and recommendations to improve client performance.
- Support the Partner in Members’ Voluntary Liquidations and related assignments.
Qualifications & Experience
- ACA, ACCA, or CPA qualified accountant.
- 3–5 years of relevant experience in practice, with strong exposure to year-end compliance.
- Excellent knowledge of Irish accounting standards and tax compliance requirements.
- Strong communication and client relationship skills.
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines and work independently.
Technical Skills
Proficiency in Xero, Sage, TaxPro, and other accounting/tax software is essential.
Desirable Skills
- Experience with business advisory services.
- Familiarity with liquidation processes.
