Job Title:Manager – Year-End & Compliance Services
Reports to:Partner
Location:Cork Office

Role Overview

My client is seeking a qualified accountant with 3–5 years of post-qualification experience to join their team as a Manager. This role is critical in managing the year-end process for audit-exempt limited company clients, ensuring full compliance with statutory and tax obligations. The successful candidate will work closely with the Partner and team to deliver high-quality financial reporting and advisory services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare annual financial statements for audit-exempt limited companies in accordance with accounting standards.
  • Manage filing obligations with the Companies Registration Office (CRO).
  • Prepare and submit Corporation Tax (CT) returns.
  • Complete income tax returns for company directors.
  • Ensure all compliance matters for assigned clients are met on time.
  • Liaise with clients to resolve queries and provide proactive advice.
  • Support the Partner in client meetings and presentations.
  • Assist with strategic business advisory projects for clients.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to improve client performance.
  • Support the Partner in Members’ Voluntary Liquidations and related assignments.

Qualifications & Experience

  • ACA, ACCA, or CPA qualified accountant.
  • 3–5 years of relevant experience in practice, with strong exposure to year-end compliance.
  • Excellent knowledge of Irish accounting standards and tax compliance requirements.
  • Strong communication and client relationship skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines and work independently.

Technical Skills

Proficiency in Xero, Sage, TaxPro, and other accounting/tax software is essential.

Desirable Skills

  • Experience with business advisory services.
  • Familiarity with liquidation processes.
