Accounts Supervisor

This employer is seeking a motivated individual to join their team and contribute to the firm’s growth. The key responsibilities for this role include:
- Preparation of accounts and VAT returns for Sole Traders, Companies, and Partnerships.
- Preparation of personal and corporation tax returns.
- Client management accounting (experience with Xero, Sage, and QuickBooks is preferred but not essential).
- Accurate data entry and updating of records.
- Processing journals and finalising accounts.
- Managing accounts work done by others, including outsourced providers.
Desired Skills and Qualifications:
- Part-qualified ACA or ACCA (studying not required) or AAT Level 4, or qualified by experience.
- Educated to BTEC or A-Level standard.
- Accounts experience in a practice environment.
- Strong IT skills.
- Ability to work independently and flexibly.
- Capable of prioritising tasks and working under pressure to meet deadlines.
Employment Details:
- Full-time position, Monday to Friday (hybrid working).
- Salary and benefits will be dependent on experience and qualifications.
- Right to work in the UK is required.
