Role: Senior Tax Specialist
Location: Chester
Salary: £50,000 - £55,000 (Dependant on Experience)

Your Key Responsibilities of the Senior Tax Specialist Job:
- Implement inheritance tax and estate planning solutions, including wills, power of attorney, and family trusts
- Manage cross-border tax matters, including UK residency, domicile, and international relocation
- Liaise with solicitors, HMRC, and other stakeholders on client matters and negotiations
- Plan, implement, and monitor employee incentive schemes and related compliance
- Provide guidance on indirect tax issues including VAT, customs, and environmental taxes
- Research and interpret evolving UK and international tax legislation
- Produce client-facing reports, presentations, and respond to ad hoc tax queries
- Manage projects from strategy through execution with a strong focus on outcomes
- Calculate liabilities, prepare filings, and support ongoing compliance work
Qualifications Required for the Senior Tax Specialist Job:
- Will need to be ATT or CTA qualified.
- A minimum of 4+ years' experience in a tax role within an UK practice accountancy firm.
- Profound technical knowledge of UK taxation matters.
