This firm is known for its client-centric approach and commitment to employee development. Due to continued growth, they are seeking an Audit & Accounts Semi Senior to join their team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated individual with practice experience who is looking to take the next step in their career. The role offers a mix of audit and accounts work, giving you valuable exposure to a broad client base across a variety of sectors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the planning, execution, and completion of audit assignments
- Prepare statutory accounts for limited companies, partnerships, and sole traders
- Perform audit testing and document audit work in line with professional standards
- Work closely with managers and seniors to deliver high-quality audit and accounts services
- Liaise with clients to resolve queries and build strong professional relationships
- Keep up to date with changes in accounting and auditing standards
- Support the continuous development of internal processes and best practices
Requirements:
- At least 2 years’ experience in a UK accountancy practice
- Currently studying towards ACA or ACCA
- Solid understanding of audit methodology and financial reporting standards
- Experience in preparing statutory accounts
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Highly organised with great attention to detail
- Competent in audit/accounting software and Microsoft Office
