As an Audit & Accounts Semi-Senior, you will gain hands-on experience, work on a variety of audit and accountancy assignments, and be supported in achieving your professional qualifications. Your contributions will be recognised, and you’ll have opportunities to grow within the firm.
What You’ll Be Doing: As an Audit & Accounts Semi-Senior, you will:
- Work closely with senior team members on larger audit and accountancy assignments, completing tasks to the highest standards.
- Take ownership of smaller assignments, managing them with support from the team and ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
- Mentor junior trainees, providing guidance and feedback while acting as a role model.
- Assist with client planning, helping to build strong relationships and ensuring excellent service delivery.
- Stay up to date with relevant accounting and auditing standards, applying your technical knowledge to client work.
- Ensure compliance with professional training policies, progressing through your ACA qualification while consistently producing above-average results.
- Maintain client confidentiality and uphold the firm’s high standards of professionalism and integrity.
What We’re Looking For: To be successful as an Audit & Accounts Semi-Senior, you should have:
- Experience working within an accountancy firm in a senior audit and accounts role.
- Be studying towards ACA (Professional Stage) with a strong commitment to completing your qualification.
- Strong technical proficiency in audit and accounts, with great attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and advisory skills, with confidence in working alongside senior management.
- A proactive, can-do attitude and a problem-solving mindset.
- The ability to manage time effectively, meet deadlines, and take ownership of your assignments.
- Proficiency in IT systems, including Excel, audit and accountancy software (e.g., CCH Accounts Production, CCH Audit Automation), Outlook, and Practice Management software.
