Conveyancing Paralegal/ Property Law
Location: Chigwell, Essex
Salary: £25,000 - £29,000 (DOE)

Are you an experienced Paralegal with a passion for property law? We’re working with a respected multi-office, Legal 500 law firm in Essex that is now looking to expand its conveyancing team with a motivated and knowledgeable Paralegal.

The Role
As a Conveyancing Paralegal, you will provide vital support across both residential and commercial property transactions.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Opening new files and managing client onboarding (letters of engagement, ID and conflict checks)
- Reviewing leases and preparing reports
- Conducting Land Registry downloads and relevant searches (priority, bankruptcy, etc.)
- Preparing first-draft legal documents for review
- Handling Land Registry and SDLT applications
- Liaising with solicitors, clients, and third parties to ensure smooth transactions
What We’re Looking For
- At least 1 year’s experience in a property law or conveyancing role
- Strong knowledge of the conveyancing process (residential and/or commercial)
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
- Confident using legal software and document management systems
- A proactive, can-do attitude and a desire to grow within the legal sector
- Must be able to reliably commute to Chigwell (on-site parking available)
