Are you a solicitor with a passion for tenant rights and experience in housing disrepair claims? Ready to progress your career within a supportive and growing law firm?
Puro Associates are recruiting for an experienced litigator on behalf of a well-established legal practice specialising in housing disrepair, social housing litigation, and tenant advocacy. Due to ongoing expansion, the firm is now looking to appoint a Housing Disrepair Solicitor to join their dedicated team.

The Role:
You will be responsible for managing a caseload of housing disrepair claims, both pre-litigated and litigated. The role includes client liaison, drafting legal documentation, engaging with experts, negotiating settlements, and progressing cases to court where necessary.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Independently manage a caseload of claimant-side housing disrepair matters
  • Draft legal documents including letters of claim, particulars of claim, and witness statements
  • Prepare cases for litigation, ensuring compliance with housing disrepair protocol and Civil Procedure Rules
  • Provide clear legal advice to clients and maintain high standards of client care
  • Stay updated on housing law and relevant case law developments

About You:

  • Qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive (NQ+ PQE will be considered)
  • Experience in housing disrepair
  • Confident in dealing with housing providers, experts, and opposing counsel
  • Strong communication, organisational, and case management skills
  • A proactive and client-focused approach
