About the Role:
As an Onboarding Paralegal, you will be the first point of contact for new clients within the conveyancing department. You’ll be responsible for ensuring a smooth and efficient onboarding process, gathering key documentation, conducting initial checks, and supporting the wider legal team to get each transaction off to the best possible start.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle the initial client onboarding process for residential conveyancing files
- Liaise directly with clients, estate agents, and other third parties
- Carry out ID checks, AML verification, and collect KYC documentation
- Prepare initial paperwork and engagement letters
- Input and manage accurate case information on the firm’s case management system
- Support the conveyancers by preparing files for legal work to begin
- Deliver outstanding client care from the very first interaction
About You
- Previous experience in conveyancing or residential property law is highly desirable
- Experience in a paralegal or legal support role preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail
- A positive, can-do attitude with a focus on client care
- Able to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and case management systems
