Puro Associates are delighted to be working with a local practice who are looking for a Payroll Manager to join their team. This is a great opportunity to work in a friendly practice in a varied and exciting role within a supportive environment, offering opportunity to work on varied client base. If you have experience working in an accountancy practice in a payroll setting or a payroll bureau then we would love to hear from you.

The role

• Processing end to end client payrolls on a weekly and monthly basis
• Onboarding of new clients
• Managing various Statutory payments and other payroll changes
• Submitting weekly/2-weekly/monthly RTIs, EPS, FPS
• Adhering to latest guidelines issued by HMRC and Pension Regulator in relation to running payroll
• Being the first point of contact for technical and complex payroll queries
• Keeping clients aware of their auto enrolment duties well ahead of the deadlines
• Setting up pension schemes for employers as and when required
• Regularly assessing employees for pension eligibility and enrolling them to pension scheme
• Preparing and submitting CIS returns

Requirements:

• Must have experience working in a UK accountancy practice or payroll Bureau
• Confident with payroll from start to finish using Payroll Manager & Moneysoft
• Must be able to work well independently as well as with a team
• Excellent communication skills
