Post-Completions Assistant / Legal Administrator – Conveyancing Team

Location:
East London
Full-Time, Permanent
Salary: £25,000 - £29,000

We are working with a well-regarded and long-established East London law firm that is actively seeking an experienced Post-Completions Assistant / Conveyancing Administrator to join their busy residential and commercial conveyancing team.

The Role:As a vital part of the conveyancing department, you’ll be responsible for managing the post-completion process from start to finish, ensuring all registrations and submissions are handled efficiently and accurately.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and submit SDLT, AP1 and FR1 forms via the Land Registry online portal
  • Collate and manage supporting documentation for registration
  • Monitor OS1 priority periods and respond to Land Registry requisitions promptly
  • Maintain accurate records across both case management systems and paper files
  • Liaise with colleagues to ensure timely and compliant completions
  • Communicate effectively with lender clients through portals (LMS, Lender Exchange) and traditional correspondence
  • Issue confirmation and completion documents to clients
  • Assist on reception as needed

About You:We’re looking for someone who is methodical, reliable, and confident when working independently, with a strong understanding of the conveyancing process.

Key Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a post-completions or similar legal administrative role
  • Working knowledge of Land Registry and lender portal processes
  • Audio typing skills (essential)
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work to deadlines with minimal supervision
  • A confident, professional communicator with a client-first approach
