Puro Assoicates are pleased to be supporting a dynamic and well-regarded accountancy practice is seeking a confident and highly organised Receptionist / Administrator to join their Peterborough office. This is a front-facing role ideal for a proactive individual who thrives in a professional, client-focused environment and enjoys variety in their day-to-day tasks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide a warm, professional welcome to clients and visitors
  • Manage incoming calls and direct queries across multiple office locations
  • Maintain a presentable reception area and well-organised office space
  • Coordinate meeting schedules, staff calendars, and internal appointments
  • Handle incoming/outgoing post and support digital document management
  • Monitor office and kitchen supplies; liaise with suppliers and facilities contacts
  • Support internal and client communications including drafting correspondence
  • Set up and manage client records across internal systems
  • Take ownership of scanning, file organisation, and document sharing

About You

  • Prior experience in a reception or administrative role, ideally within accountancy or professional services
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and digital file management systems
  • Highly organised with exceptional attention to detail
  • Positive, self-motivated and comfortable working independently
  • Client-focused with a friendly, professional demeanour
