Puro Associates are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Accountant to join a growing firm in their Leeds office. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a dynamic and growing company, with the chance to take on new challenges and progress your career.

Key Responsibilities:

• Development of own client portfolio
• Completing draft financial statements for sole traders, partnerships and companies
• Completing draft business tax computations ready for review by the tax manager
• Ensuring day-to-day client files are completed correctly and within set timeframes
• Preparing assignment highlight documentation for client finalisation meetings.
• Preparation of ad-hoc management accounts.
• Corresponding with clients and dealing with queries
• Supporting junior team members with questions and queries to ensure accurate work is produced.
• Planning own workload to ensure deadlines are met and work is ready for sign-off
• Recording own chargeable time and ensuring all billable hours can be recovered.

Requirements:

• AAT Qualified
• ACCA/ACA part or fully qualified
• Practice experience
