Position: Accounts Assistant (Part Time)
Location: Wirral
Salary: £24,000 - £28,000 PR (Dependant on Experience)

Puro Associate is excited to assist an Accountancy firm in the Wirral area in their search for a part time (15 - 20 hours) Accounts Assistant to integrate into their warm and established firm with the view to go more full time at a later date if desired.

Responsibilities:

• Working with a varied portfolio of client across all sectors
• Bookkeeping
• Preparing and submission of VAT returns
• Preparing management accounts with commentary for clients
• Preparing year-end trial balance and working papers to enable accounts production for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies
• Providing support and assistance to payroll department
• Liaise with HMRC on behalf of clients where necessary

Requirements:

• Previous UK practice experience is essential
• Hold the right to work in the UK
• Strong communication skills, comfortable engaging with clients and colleagues at all levels
• To have a hands-on / can-do attitude with an ability to work independently but also as part of a team
