Property Solicitor – St Albans
SalaryAs a Residential & Commercial Property Solicitor, you’ll manage a wide-ranging caseload including residential sales and purchases, remortgages, and land acquisition and disposal. You’ll also support and supervise paralegals and assistants within the team, while playing a key role in maintaining high standards of client care and compliance.
What You’ll Do:
- Run a busy caseload of residential and commercial conveyancing matters independently
- Handle transactions from instruction to completion, ensuring efficiency and compliance
- Supervise and support junior members of the property team as required
- Build strong working relationships with clients, estate agents, and referrers
- Contribute to the continued growth and success of the department
- Ensure compliance with CQS, Lexcel, lender panel, and Land Registry requirements
The Ideal Candidate:To succeed as a Residential & Commercial Property Solicitor, you will ideally have:
- 5+ years PQE as a Solicitor (or equivalent qualification and experience)
- Confidence in managing your own files and supervising support staff
- A solid background in both residential and commercial property law
- Experience working with CQS, Lexcel, lender panels, and Land Registry compliance
- Strong communication and client relationship skills
- A dedicated, flexible, and proactive approach to your work
