Accounts Senior
Location – South Shields, South Tyneside
Salary - £32,000 - £35,000

Responsibilities –

• Lead and supervise a small team, including organizing workloads and ensuring all deadlines are met.
• Report to the firm partners, providing updates on the teams performance and project statuses.
• Oversee and manage payroll, pensions, CIS, VAT and annual accounts processes.
• Supervise and review the work of team members, ensuring accuracy and compliance. Act as a mentor for junior staff, supporting their development and training.
• Handle HMRC registrations and ensure compliance with their guidelines.

What we are looking for –

• Qualified by experience or AAT, ACA/ACCA qualified (or currently working towards these qualifications)
• At least 3 years of experience within a UK Practice.
• Experience in managing or supervising a team/junior members of staff.
