Puro Associates are happy to be supporting a friendly firm based in Elgin in their search for a Qualified Audit Assistant. This team thrives on providing high quality tax, bookkeeping, accounts and VAT services for their clients across the UK.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a recently Qualified Audit Assistant seeking a new role within a supportive and friendly team or just a Qualified Auditor just seeking a new challenge.

Responsibilities of an Audit Assistant:
• Preparation and signing off on final audit reports, you would be serving as the firms qualified auditor.
• Lead and manage the team, audit engagements and ensuring compliance with all the relevant auditing standards and regulations.
• Identifying any potential risks or areas for improvement with any client records.
• Speak with other members of staff in the practice to deliver a great service to clients.
• Communicating with clients and ensuring all their audit needs are met to the highest level of professionalism.
What we are looking for in our ideal Audit Assistant:
- Fully qualified auditor (ACCA or ACA)
- At least 3 years experience within Practice as an Audit Assistant or within a similar role.
- Strong technical knowledge or audit regulations and financial reporting standards.
- Ability to work both within a team and independently.
- Proven experience in conducting audits across various industries
- Great communication skills.
- Willingness and drive to contribute to broader development and growth of the practice.
