Puro Associates are seeking a Senior Accountant with experience with Audit to join a fast growing practice in Hamilton. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone seeking clear progression and responsibility.

Responsibilities of an Senior Accountant:
- Assisting with junior members of staff with training and support, as well as reviewing the work of others.
- VAT returns, bookkeeping and Payroll
- Preparation of accounts for sole traders, partnerships, charities etc
- Monitoring the progression of audit assignments
- Liaising with clients and ensuring all their needs are met to the highest level of professionalism.
What are we looking for in a Senior Accountant:
- ACCA/AAT/ACA Qualified
- At least 5 + experience in Practice in a similar role.
- Ability to work well independently as well as part of a team.
- Strong knowledge of accounting software’s such as QuickBooks, Xero and Sage
