Are you an experienced Tax Manager looking to develop your career in a Newcastle-based accountancy practice with a strong focus on private clients?
We’re representing a well-established and respected firm that is looking to strengthen its private client offering. This is an exciting opportunity for a Tax Manager with a personal tax and compliance background—or a well-rounded practitioner—to take ownership of a varied client portfolio.
The Role
You’ll lead the management of private client and personal tax compliance, working closely with partners and senior leadership. Your expertise will help deliver high-quality advice and ensure clients remain compliant, while supporting and mentoring junior staff.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing a portfolio of private client/personal tax clients
- Handling personal tax compliance, including tax returns and related filings
- Providing tax planning advice for high-net-worth individuals and families
- Supporting wider client advisory services when needed
- Developing and mentoring junior team members
- Contributing to business development initiatives
About You
- CTA / ACA / ACCA qualified (or equivalent)
- Strong personal tax and compliance experience; all-round practice experience also welcomed
- Excellent client management and communication skills
- Commercial awareness and proactive approach
- Comfortable leading a team and managing client relationships independently
