Position: Accounts Assistant
Location: Chester
Salary: £25,000 - £30,000 (Dependant on Experience)

Puro Accountancy is excited to assist an Accountancy firm in the Chester area in their quest for a full-time permanent Assistant Accountant to integrate into their warm and established team of accounting professionals.

Responsibilities:

• Assisting in producing year-end accounts for Limited companies, adhering to both FRS102 and FRS105 standards
• Assisting with the completion of corporate, personal, and partnership tax return filings
• Preparation of VAT returns and occasional bookkeeping tasks

Requirements:

• A minimum of 2 years’ UK practice experience is essential
• Ideally working towards an accounting qualification or hoping to soon
• Proficiency in Excel, Xero, Sage, Accounting, and Taxation software
• Strong communication skills, comfortable engaging with clients and colleagues at all levels
