Accounts Manager – Accountancy Practice

Puro Accountancy are delighted to be working with a well-established and expanding accountancy practice looking for an experienced and driven Accounts Manager to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the planning and delivery of accounts assignments, as well as providing advice on corporate and personal taxation to their clients.

Responsibilities:

• Building and maintaining excellent relationships with clients, understanding their financial objectives, and offering personalized solutions to meet their needs.
• Managing all aspects of the clients' accounts, including bookkeeping, tax planning, and compliance.
• Overseeing and reviewing financial statements, providing accurate insights and recommendations to clients.
• Assisting clients with complex financial matters, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
• Collaborating with internal teams to ensure a seamless service delivery and identifying opportunities for business growth.

Requirements:

• ACA or ACCA qualified with at least 5 years' experience in a similar role
• Strong technical knowledge of accounts and taxation, with experience in leading and managing accounts assignments
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong client relationships
• Demonstrated ability to identify cross-selling opportunities and develop new business leads
• Experience using Xero, Sage, QuickBooks and IRIS would be an advantage
• Experience in managing and coaching staff for improved performance and technical development
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a positive and proactive attitude
