Experienced Bookkeeper – Flexible Hours & Competitive Salary Location: Aylesbury
Salary: £28,000 - £32,000 per annum
Hours: 25-37.5 hours per week (flexible)

As a Bookkeeper, you will play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records, handling VAT and CIS returns, and ensuring the smooth operation of day-to-day bookkeeping functions. Key Responsibilities of the Bookkeeper:
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and reports.
- Process VAT returns and CIS returns using Sage.
- Manage all day-to-day bookkeeping tasks, ensuring financial accuracy.
- Work independently and proactively to meet deadlines.
- Assist with month-end and year-end procedures.
- Liaise with clients to resolve accounting queries efficiently.
What We’re Looking for in a Bookkeeper:
- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper, ideally within a small business or accountancy practice.
- Extensive knowledge of Sage software and confident in using it daily.
- Strong experience in VAT returns and CIS returns, particularly using Sage modules.
- Highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills, able to liaise professionally with clients and colleagues.
- A proactive problem-solver who works well under pressure.
