Position: Accounts Assistant
Job Location: Wigan
Salary: £25,000 - £28,000 (Dependant on Experience)
Puro Associates is excited to assist an Accountancy firm in the Wigan area in their quest for a full-time permanent Assistant Accountant to integrate into their warm and established team of accounting professionals.

Responsibilities of the Accounts Assistant Job:
- Assisting in producing year-end accounts for Limited companies, adhering to both FRS102 and FRS105 standards
- Assisting with the completion of corporate, personal, and partnership tax return filings
- Preparation of VAT returns and occasional bookkeeping tasks
Requirements of the Accounts Assistant Job:
- A minimum of 18 months UK practice experience is essential
- Ideally working towards an accounting qualification or hoping to soon
- Proficiency in Excel, Xero, Sage, Accounting, and Taxation software
- Strong communication skills, comfortable engaging with clients and colleagues at all levels
