The Role – Accounts SupervisorAs an Accounts Supervisor, you’ll be responsible for overseeing a diverse portfolio of clients while ensuring the smooth preparation of accounts and tax returns. You’ll play a key role in client management, financial reporting, and reviewing outsourced work, making this an exciting opportunity for someone looking to take the next step in their career.
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparation of accounts and VAT returns for Sole Traders, Companies, and Partnerships.
- Handling personal and corporation tax returns.
- Managing client accounts, with experience in Xero, Sage, and QuickBooks preferred.
- Reviewing and managing work completed by others, including outsourced providers.
- Accurate data entry and record-keeping.
- Processing journals and finalising accounts with precision.
What We’re Looking For in an Accounts Supervisor:
- ACA/ACCA part-qualified, AAT Level 4, or qualified by experience.
- Previous practice experience within an accountancy firm.
- Strong IT and accounting software skills.
- Ability to work independently, prioritise tasks, and meet deadlines under pressure.
- Excellent attention to detail and a proactive approach.
