Tax Semi Senior Opportunity – Growing Accountancy Practice in Essex

A well-established and highly regarded accountancy practice based in Hornchurch is seeking a Tax Semi Senior to join its growing team. Established in 1998, the firm has experienced significant growth over the past decade and continues to expand its client portfolio. The Role
As a Tax Semi Senior, you will work closely with the Directors and take an active role in managing client relationships while supporting the continued development of the practice.
Key responsibilities include:
- Preparation of sole trader year-end accounts and financial statements
- Preparation of personal and business tax computations
- Supporting clients through the implementation of Making Tax Digital (MTD)
- Providing strategic tax and financial management advice
- Managing a portfolio of clients and maintaining excellent client relationships
- Assisting with the smooth day-to-day running of the practice
- Identifying opportunities to improve processes and introduce more efficient ways of working
The Candidate
The successful candidate will have:
- Previous experience working within an accountancy practice environment
- ATT qualification or a minimum of 5 years' relevant practice experience
- Strong knowledge of accounts preparation and taxation
- Excellent communication and client management skills
- A proactive and organised approach to work
- An interest in technology and improving operational efficiencies
