Puro Associates is excited to assist an Accountancy firm in the Bury area in their quest for a full-time Senior Accountant to integrate into their warm and established team of accounting professionals.

Responsibilities of the Senior Accountant will encompass:

• Managing a client portfolio, ensuring the delivery of top-notch accounting and tax services
• Preparation and review of annual accounts, tax computations, and VAT returns
• Offering financial guidance while ensuring adherence to accounting standards and tax regulations
• Providing mentorship and guidance to junior team members, with a focus on training and development
• Assisting in special projects and ad-hoc tasks, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability
• Nurturing strong client relationships, identifying avenues for business expansion and enhancement

To be eligible for the Senior Accountant position, you should possess:

• A minimum of 4 years’ UK practice experience is essential
• Ideally qualified or equivalent through experience (QBE)
• Proficiency in Excel, Xero, Sage, Accounting, and Taxation software
• Strong communication skills, comfortable engaging with clients and colleagues at all levels
